It is not that I have anything against Fiji, but when you spend the entire time in any particular country sick as a dog, you are bound to not like it much. Of course, I got sick on the second day in Fiji. Erin and I set off to a nearly deserted island, which is great, except it is impossible to find sick person necessities like Gatorade and miso soup. Erin pointed out to me that the likely reason that I get sick so much while travelling: I am like the dirty kid who picks his nose and doesn't wash his hands very much, and I need to make sure I don't brush my teeth with the tap water.
The island we are on is very peaceful, with many hammocks and swinging chairs to pass the day away in the sun. The food here is the worst I have ever eaten, but the snorkelling is nice. I never got to climb a coconut tree because it is not recommended for those with a high fever.
Here are some pictures of Fiji... good riddance.
